FAQ
Fair questions, plain answers
The questions people ask before starting: what's free, what's paid, and the boundaries of what we sell.
What exactly is Tekton?
A method and a curated library for finishing AI-built products. You apply free; your own agent runs our audit pack; we read the resulting report across eight dimensions and send back The Tekton Report: full findings, scores, and the skills your project needs, with why. The Finishing Pass ($149 one-time) unlocks the skill bodies, the working procedure, downloads, and one re-check. The full process is here.
Is the report really free?
Yes. Your agent does the audit work on your side, so the costly part never lands on us. Our analysis costs us very little. And we’d rather show you than tell you: a report good enough to trust is the best proof the method works. No card, no trial clock, no obligation to buy anything.
What exactly does the Finishing Pass unlock?
Every selected skill’s full body: numbered steps for your agent, each ending in verification checks. Plus the working procedure, downloads of The Tekton Report and your skill pack, and one re-check: resubmit your revised report after the work and get a fresh reading. $149, one-time. The full split is on the pricing page.
What is Tekton not?
Not an agency, not an audit firm, not a certification. We never see or touch your code, and we make no outcome guarantees. We promise a systematic reading and a clear path, not a stamp.
Which agents and platforms are covered?
Lovable, Bolt, v0, Replit, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Windsurf, and “other / mixed” setups too. The pack is plain markdown, platform-agnostic by design, with platform-specific notes only where a platform genuinely changes the advice. If your agent can read a file, it can run the audits.
Do I need to share my code?
No. Only your agent’s report. Your agent audits the code where it already lives; you skim the finished report and decide what to send. Your code, your repo, and your credentials never travel.
How long does it take?
The audits take about an afternoon of agent time. The Tekton Report usually arrives within minutes of submitting. The finishing work itself depends on what’s found. Typically days of focused agent work, not months.
What do you store, and why?
Your application details and the report you submit, because those are what the analysis reads and what your private results link serves. If you buy the Finishing Pass, Stripe processes the payment; card details never touch our servers. We don’t sell data, and you can have your submission deleted by emailing hello@tekton.cc. The plain-language details are in the privacy policy.
What if my report comes back mostly clean?
Then The Tekton Report says so, honestly, and the skill list is short. Skill selection is deterministic code. It cannotinvent findings to justify a bigger pack. Knowing you’re close is worth as much as a long list, and you’ll know it without having paid anything.
Can I get a fresh read after the work?
Yes. The Finishing Passincludes one re-check. When you’ve worked the pack, resubmit your revised report and a fresh Tekton Report comes back. Along the way you’re not flying blind either: every skill ends with verification checks you run yourself, so you confirm each fix as you go.
What about refunds?
The report is free, so there’s nothing to refund there. If the Finishing Passdidn’t help, reply to your receipt within fourteen days and we’ll refund it. No form, no call, no “retention flow.”
Why $149 when developers quoted me thousands?
Because it’s a different product. A consultant rediscovers the same findings from scratch, at day rates. That’s where the quotes come from. Tekton curates each failure pattern once, in a library, and matches your project against it. That’s why the diagnosis can be free and the path costs $149. The method page walks through the economics. What $149doesn’t buy is hands-on rescue: your agent does the work, we supply the lens.
Something we didn’t cover? Email hello@tekton.cc. A person reads it.
See where you stand.
The Tekton Report is free: your agent runs the audit, we read it across eight dimensions, and you get the full findings and the skills your project needs.
Your code stays with you. We only ever read your agent's report.
